L'ile noire

During my cousin's wedding in Frejus (South of France) we came across this island that looked vaguely familiar... after confirmation from the locals, it turned out to be the very same island Hergé used as inspiration for his album ' Tintin et L'ile noire'! Pretty cool I thought!
Hergé is known for his thorough research.

Annecy 2009 + Trip update

Hi everyone,

It's been hard but I finally found an internet cafe in Paris. Beleive me it wasn't easy...

Well heaps has happenned since my last post... Annecy was amazing on all levels, enlightning conferences, amazing short films and the most beautiful city to have an Animation festival in. The other cool thing about Annecy, was to see in flesh all of the industry top people, studios, VIPS...

It's is definetely the place to be and everyone was super friendly and accesible!!

the rest of the trip is going well beside a back injury that prevented some of my plans (lucky I took a good insurance policy). I am now getting better and able to walk again! YAY!

Korea!!

Ola!!

Little update on the trip while waiting to board the plane to Paris.

Alex Ben and I are now in Incheon (Korea), about an hour drive from Seoul. The first part of the flight went by pretty quickly and we stayed the night at a very nice hotel (probably the best I ever stayed in! Even my name was on the phone!! it was like my own private office in the room!haha I'm not sure the accomodation wil get better than this from now on:D)

The airport looks amazing and very futuristic (like one of those star-trek spacheships!)

Okay the plane leaves soon, I better go :)

Website Revamp!

Hey!
It took a while, but I finally got around to redesigning my website.
I'm having issues trying to make it fit everyone's window sizes (I initally wanted it to fit the screen with no margin and no scrollbars), I want to add more images to the portfolio section too.... But anyway this will have to do for now :/ Any feedback you have, bugs, comments,suggestions will be great!!

Schonell Screening postponed

G'day, just forwarding this message regarding friday's screening:

Unfortunately the preview screening of 'Heaven In A Wild Flower' scheduled for Friday 22 May has been postponed due to minor licensing issues with music.

My sincerest apologies if this has caused any inconvenience. The production team of 'Heaven' are organising with the Schonell possible dates for a screening in the near future.

Poles Apart screening

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that Poles Apart is showing on friday the 22nd of May as part of the cast and crew screening of "Heaven in a Wild Flower"(An honours Film&TV short).
Screening is at 7PM @ the Schonell Theatre (5$ ticket).
This will probably be the last Cinema screening of Poles Apart as we are about to release it on the Web after a great run in festivals!

This was done for a job I've just completed, most of the work was in the final design element which shows much better on a black bgd, but since the green bgd was part of the client's branding,the green colour had to stay throughout the intro.
